My Alienware 18 came with a Alienware TactX Merciless Gaming Mouse which I like, very comfortable to use and precise mouse pointer movements.

I also have a Logitech MX Anywhere wireless mouse which I love for its pretty simple looks and very comfortable to hold. But I noticed that in a game, it is kinda laggy and isn't as precise as it is when I am using it in the normal Windows desktop environment.

So the question is, do you think it is worth it to buy the Logitech G602 over my current Alienware TactX Merciless Gaming Mouse or no need to waste my money?

The only reason I was thinking of this upgrade is to get rid of cables as much as possible.

After reading the review here: Logitech G602 Review - Gaming Mice - Laptop Mag

it says it's thumb buttons are very cramped and one could easily press a diff. button than the one he intended to....

That worries me what do you think?

G602 is the only viable wireless mouse if you want precise cursor movement

Keep in mind that you only have 1000dpi and 500hz as default settings, based on the G100s all other steps are interpolated (or if you have LGS running)

I would just buy a cheap mouse for travel and put a proper gaming mouse back at home tbh. Wireless has too many disadvantages for my play style and sensitivity.
