I currently have the Hippo V B and the bass is amazing but the only gripe which is pretty major is how the cord is soo thing that tangling is immanent as soon as i put them in my pocket. It becomes basically a ball of yarn when i take them out and untangling them can take 1-4mins which gets pretty frustrating.

Can anyone recommend any good earphones? I'm quite the bass head so earphones with similar sound to the Hippo V B would be awesome. I would like to spend under $100 but there is some wiggle room.

Are there small cases where you could store the earphones so they don't tangle?

Overpriced for sure. Not perhaps. You're right, I wouldn't call them crap.

Hahaha maybe i worded incorrectly. Anti-tangling is of course impossible but i was looking towards earphones that resist tangling such as using the flat cable design or have a small easy to carry case that prevents them from being tangle. Even some with the wire being really thick helps.

If you do a quick figure 8 type wrap with them and wrap the ends around they shouldn't tangle. It takes a few seconds to do, but it works.

Wow that's awesome. That's something I'm looking forward. I always had my eye on the Klipsch S4.

i actually own a pair of first generation klipsch s4i black, the sound quality is really good. it has subtle bass unlike the beats earphones which emphasize the bass a little too much for my taste.

my only complaint is that the build quality is a little cheap. It seems like klipsch received too many complaints about build quality and they released the 2nd generation with tangle-free cords and overall sturdier build. :)
