it's a review of Steinheil AG for my laptop - HP Pavilion DV6000
    Photos attached :)
i got this screen shield from sgpstore, they did not have one for my laptop but i found their NB000 product is for 15" laptops so gave it a try- and it fitted well! yay! lol
i probably be so depressed if it doesn't fit well, cuz it costed 37 bucks for a piece..

it does reduces reflextion, it's a bit foggy compare to bare screen, but i like that how it keeps the screen matt. and it been about 5 hour after installation and my eyes seem to get used to it.
it also leaves less finger marks which part i like the most out of it :D
if your eyes get tired of glossy reflective screen, try this one..i like it very much! along with their leather skin :D

Nice super *mini* review you did there on the Anti-Glare Screen Protector.
Your lucky it fit so well for your HP! :)

I'm glad to hear that your *eyes* are getting used to it fairly well. I'm sure that as each day goes by it will get just as easier for you! Having less glare is always, a very good thing!

    Thanks again for your feedback!

Can you please provide the link to where you purchased from? In case others want to peruse a purchase? :)

    Good post

Non glare screens are my preference
I am all thumbs when changing the screen protector on my Panasonic tablet
For me it’s not a fun thing to do

You have to watch out for dust when you are installing them
A common suggestion on keeping the dust down is to install in the bathroom after running the shower for a while, to get the dust out of the air

Note: I didn’t recommend installing in the shower

IMO laptops/notebooks have reduced glare comparing with a CRT/LCD. I only use anti-glare (usually but I don't use anything now) on CRT monitors only.
From the pictures you've sent seems like a little difference, Why not buy a anti UV glasses instead of installing an anti-glare screen. You still can use it while watching T.V. or playing games (that is if you have eye strain due to prolong usage of PC).

o what made me to buy this one is its concept of anti-fingerprint.
my laptop is no touch screen or anything but i do get lots of fingerprints over it- guess pointing at monitor directly with fingertips is one of my habit that i don't realize when i actually do it

You'd look like a retard wearing sunglasses and typing on a laptop.

    Especially indoors.

The whole "glossy screen" trend started when people starting Oohing and Aahing over the new Macbooks (at that time), so you can blame Apple for starting that. I do agree that it looks better, but it makes it so much harder to read, or even look at certain things when you're outside in bright sunlight.

"Common sense"? A lot of people say that having a glossy screen causes the images to look sharper, brighter and much more vibrant. So I'm not sure what you're talking about there...

I can't help it, but I still love my laptop, despite the glossy screen. But I do admit that my ego does get a little inflated when the guy next to me with a Lenovo wants to glance over my shoulder to see my entertainment notebook playing a Blu-Ray movie. :D It makes me want to say, "Yeah...take a good look at it."

Dumped the screen protector almost immediately after applying it on my XPS 16 as it degraded image quality unacceptably for me (and yes, after the bubbles went away). Fairly soon after also dumped the laptop itself, as well as the other glass-fronted machines I had (except for the Adamo - and I barely use that in any case). Where do the guys who love these live and work? Their mom's basements with no windows?

Of course you will... if what you're thinking is a regular sunglasses :) No one would do that. Have you tried it? LOL

There are clear UV glasses available that resembles like reading glasses, they actually look elegant and you won't look like a retard. My roomate uses it, (he dates every other night with beautiful girls). I don't think that looks a retard to me. :)

Reading glasses........ Interesting. I wonder how much they cost.

It doesn't take anything more than guts and a pair to date a beautiful girl. Guts to overcome fear. And a pair to not act like a sissy. Speaking of sissies, the guy behind me in the coffee shop line had on these colored sunglasses, a wristband of some sort and a tight T-shirt. It took every ounce of self control not to take a picture and add it to the Internet's Toolbox collection.
