Im thinking of picking up a new tablet for my new laptop. I have a Graphire4 4x5 model and it has served me well.

I choose the graphire4 over the Intuos3 in the day due to cost and since I was just testing the waters.

Now the Intuos4 is out you can find some deals on the Intuos3 ($109 for a refurbished Intuos3 4x6)

So I am specifically looking for somebody that maybe had the Intuos3 and moved to the Intuos4 to get feedback if the new model was worth it.

I kinda want to move up to the "medium" size even though small should suit me fine. Honestly I am a bit afraid of the new sensitivity setting on the 4, it takes 1 gram of pressure now instead of 10 to activate and I found myself accidentally tapping the pen tip to the pad while trying to move the mouse cursor and that light activation pressure on the graphire was just enough to keep me from accidentally using the pen when I did not mean too.

Maybe the new one can have the pen further away though, so accidental presses are harder to do.

Also anybody who has moved from any Wacom from "small" to "medium" I would like your feedback too. the 4x5 was perfect for me it was big enough to easily and accurately move my mouse where I wanted it and I thought it a blessing since I like to do my movement/work from the wrist without moving my arm. but now I work on 1920x1080 screens the larger pad may offer me some advantages once I start getting used to it.

Edit: oops wrong forum mod please move to accessories if you dont mind.
