I've searched and found no topics specific to the vulnerability of current locks. I understand that these laptop locks are best used as "theft deterrents" rather than a true anti-theft device.
With the ubiquitous laptop lock-picking videos (the paper tube, BIC pen, post-it paper, etc.) floating around the internet, many manufacturers have recalled & revamped their lock mechanisms. Are the locks available on, for example, Amazon all immune to these common picking methods?
I've been eyeing the Kensington Master Lock Universal Notebook Security Cable, which seems to be a popular pick on Amazon. Does anyone have any comments on this lock, or have any recommendations for other locks?

The Kensington DS is not going to be picked, at least not in any short order. We have a review coming, but they're pretty solid.
Any decent laptop locks?
