I was considering getting a wireless portable keyboard so I could hook a laptop up to a TV and still control it from the couch. I'm wondering if anyone as any experiences with any portable keyboards.
There seems to be both flexible/rollable keyboards and plastic keyboards that partially fold up. The rollable seems like it would be more portable but might not work as well as a foldable plastic one. Comments?

Personally I like the Apple Aluminum keyboard. It's durable, can handle someone accidentally sitting on it, and it's thin and lightweight. It also works with both of my machines, Apple and Sony.

Flimsy construction and poor tactile sensitivity are the greatest detractions to these keyboards. Nevertheless, if you absolutely need one to use in places you wouldn't want to use your regular keyboard, they're usually pretty inexpensive.

I have one of those rollable keyboards...it's a neat concept, but it only really works on a perfectly flat, hard surface, so forget using it on your leg or anything. And the force required to push the keys is ridiculous, forget about touch-typing or going over 10 wpm.

I have a Zippy RF-666 keyboard. Pretty wicked. (Pun intended!)
Has a trackball mouse and a scroll wheel built in. Also has multimedia buttons.
Sturdy and lightweight. Very nice tactile response since it uses scissor switch keys like a laptop.

I'm using the free Touch Mouse app from Logitech on the iPhone for my HTPC. Works quite well for occasional use, supports two-finger scrolling too.
Download it from the App Store. For iPhone or iPod Touch. Requires Wifi network.
