Any strongly recommended anti-reflective screen films or covers for Dell XPS 15 z user?

Can anyone recommend a screen filter or film that can reduce at least a significant amount of the reflection I get on my nice, but highly reflectable, XPS 15 z screen?

I use my notebook primarily indoors but bit in offices with large windows, or in spaces with wifi hotspots like Starbuck, often again with nice big windows but with tons of usually indirect bright sunlight.

My experience is that some folks are more or less distracted by reflections and some glare and I guess I am quite sensitive. I am not expecting or desiring to turn my screen into a dark field but just want to find a product that actually works (to include can be fairly easily installed as in the cases of films).

I have tried Dell's screen protector and it does not fit the bill.

Any help, including recommendations as to a better posting site, or specific brands would be greatly recommended!

What about those mechanical screen protectors that used to be so popular back in the day. It seem like every computer in the office used to have one. Personally I'm a minimalist and would likely replace the screen (you can almost get them at the dollar store) if we're talking about simple text, or merely angle/direct the view for the least glare impact.

 

Thanks Krane. Yep, I recall those gizmos... I think primarily privacy protectors. Replace the screen? Literally?
I "see" you have an ultra bright display... don't you have comparable problems with reflection or are you typically in a dimly lit room when working on your machine. I can't be the only person who regrets this crazy mirror like display!

I mention that because I can walk into almost any office, classroom, etc. and find these things just sitting on a shelf or in someones stock room/closet. If its just simple text, it doesn't have to be a state of the art display.

When I'm in the classroom working on my graphic art, I use my laptop and extend the display to a matte screen display. When I'm at home, I only use my Dell U2713HD.

But even on its own, my laptop is low glare (not quite as good as matte), and really not bothersome to me at all. As an advantage, these non matte screens displays have richer, deeper blacks and contrast.

 

Thanks again. Got it. Agree. The display on my machine is quite awesome for viewing movies and the like at home in the evening for example. Just drives me bonkers with the reflection... I am out and about a lot and I guess this Florida sun does not help with the reflections. Take care.
