I'm interested in buying it because it seems to be exactly what I want, but one of the dimensions that's listed for it seems to be a little too small for the 17" Inspiron E1705 I'd like to put in it. It's listed as being 26.5 cm tall, which I figure to be 10.433 in., and the E1705 measures 11.3 in. in that aspect. If anybody's got one I'd love to hear if your notebook fits in there all right.

    Thanks.

Reviving an old thread I know, but I am also interested in this backpack. They look very appealing and I'd like to order one for my new notebook. However, I can't seem to find a place in the U.S. that sells them.

    hi there,

even though i have Akara K3 not K1 i referred to their site and i'm quite sure your laptop will fit into K1's Cocoon,

dimensions for K1 are as follow [inch]:
    external: 13.4 x 6.5 x 20
    Cocoon: 11.8 x 15.4 x 2

    dell inspiron e1705 [inch]:
    11.3 x 15.5 x 1.6

as you see the should be no problem but if you're not sure you can always go for K3 that have slightly bigger Cocoon and also 36 litres internal volume instead of K1's 23 litres

If you don't mind me asking, where did you order it from?

I've been looking all over for these in the US and I can't find them for sale anywhere. I even emailed Pakuma about it, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. They're cheap in the UK, but due to the exchange rate right now unless I'd do some sort of a trade with somebody in the UK it wouldn't be cheap.

I've also emailed Pakuma with no such luck. These look like great backpacks, but you are right, the exhange rate makes them rather pricey.

I wish pakuma would at least respond to the email. Maybe I'll try a different address.

    Hi,

I ordered it via laptop shop in Dublin. I think it's safe to say Pakuma is having some kind of delivery problems lately, because I had to wait for my K3 for about three weeks even though the guy in store told me it'll take two to three days. Or maybe it's just their retail channels...

H'anyway, it was the most expensive bag in whole shop but it was sure worth the money and time i spent waiting for it.

    Greetings.
