    Hi all,

I bought one of these last week because it was recommended by somebody using voice mic on "Zombie Panic: Source". Their voice commands sounded very clear and balanced with no fuzzy highs or pops. I haven't had chance to use mine yet, but was just wondering if anybody else on the forums owns this headset and is happy with it?

I've had a bit of an issue though... I find that the drivers for ithe headset load automatically when I insert the headphone and mic jacks into the included USB adapter and connect the headset in that way... and they show up in my sound devices menu so as to set the headset as default for playback and recording. But when I plug the headset in without the USB adapter by solely plugging in the headphone and mic jacks, the headset doesn't recognise or appear in sound devices, even though my Realtek program recognises that the jack plugs are in use.

Any suggestions? Using the headset via USB is no big issue really... but I just wondered why the headset doesn't appear in my sound devices when just plugging the jacks into their provided sockets.

I don't know about your drivers issue, because I plug mine in via the two jack plugs and it works just fine with the Realtek HD software I have installed.

As for usability, I don't mind them as a portable headset but for long term use they become annoying and no longer as comfortable as they could be (I am going to get me some Icemat Siberia neckband headphones next)

As for the mic, its supposedly pretty good, I haven't had any complaints from my clan buddies when using it over Vent with COD4 or WoW.

So for a portable solution they are fine, but for extended use I will be getting something a little more comfortable :)
