Maybe some easy DIY low profile version? I want to test out panels externally without always opening things up. I assume its how people test panels some way or another.

As far as I know, laptop panels are tested using their repsective controller boards. A controller board for one panel may or may not work for another.

I wouldn't consider these to be adapters, but you can essentially use them as one. You can buy controller boards from various sites. I usually get stuff from ebay.

When getting a controller board, make sure it is compatible with your panels. Different controller boards will have different inputs. I think the more expensive ones have DVI, VGA, HDMI, and Displayport inputs.
