I'll enter when I feel like it. I've already left the facts engraved in stone. It's now up to whether people want to crosscheck and reproduce the settings to find out that DPI is the same as sensitivity.

No. They can achieve similar effects, but they ARE NOT the same.

Say you had a mouse with 1 DPI. Yes, I know they don't exist. It would not track nearly as smoothly as even an 800 DPI office mouse at an equivalent sensitivity setting. At higher DPI, probably 1,000 or more, the differences becomes less obvious, but they are differences nonetheless.

lol...point in case...dont think that "OMGZ i'm now running @ 5600DPI (but i had to lower my windows/in-game sensitivity down 3 notches) instead of old 3200DPI...my mouse is now even better then it was before!!!"

anything w/ 1000DPI is fine, u can tweak the sensitivity to ur liking...don't worry SHROOM, i used to think like that until the KGB kidnapped me and tortured me till i had DPI=sensitivity engraved in the back of my mind :p

I'm just proving my point. ;) DPI and sensitivity are different, but beyond that 1,000 DPI point or so, the line between the two becomes very vague.
