Anyone tried these products? I'd like to know how well they work (response, if it drops a lot, battery life etc.) thanks.

I guess I'll add my name to the list of people who'd like a firsthand comment about one of Radtech's new mice, the full sized BT600.

I bought a Radtech BT600 to use with my new Dell 640m.
I wanted a BT mouse as I was fed up with using wired mice (notebook ones as well as full-size), and didn't want a usb-wireless one with a usb dongle sticking out of the laptop and possibly getting knocked and damaging the ports. So I selected the internal BT option with the laptop and had a look for a good BT mouse.
Another requirement was 5 buttons on the mouse. Having become used to 5 button MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer on desktops I get frustrated at using mice with only 3 buttons - I just miss the forwards/backwards buttons.
At first I could only see standard desktop BT mice with 5 buttons - usually part of a full desktop set such as the Logitech or MS bluetooth sets. The disadvantage with these was that they came with desktop chargers and although the batteries can be swapped out, what if I ran out of power and had no spare batteries? Further, with no means of switching off such desktop-based mice I didn't expect the charge to last too long.
Eventually I found an Ebay seller advertising a new Radtech BT mouse with everything I wanted - 5 buttons, optical, a simple one/off switch, a usb cable to connnect to the laptop if my batteries were dying, and a size somewhere in between a full-size desktop mouse and a tiny notebook one. And no BT dongle necessary. Bliss!
The mouse is great and works flawlessly with the Dell after an initial pairing. As soon as I boot the Dell up and switch mouse on the connection is re-established every time and the cursor moving before the laptop has fully booted.
Tracking is accurate on all the surfaces I use from a fake wood laminate to cotton bedding. That was a concern to me as I have gone through so many usb-wireless desktop mice until I found the MS one which works well on my desk. I have a cupboard with half a dozen cheaper alternatives which were a false economy.
With 2 AA batteries inside (the compartment was difficult to open the 1st time) the mouse has a good weight and feels nice and solid to me. All buttons have a nice solid click but the front-most side button was VERY stiff at first and required a significantly greater amount of pressure than the others. It is gradually getting easier or I am getting more used to it.
The only issue I have with the Radtech BT600 at the moment is that the side buttons seem to operate in reverse to every other mouse's side buttons - in Internet Explorer or Firefox the front-most button goes back a screen while the rear-most button goes forwards. I can't see a way to change it as the mouse driver is the Dell trackpad one, and I don't want to ruin that yet by trying to install MS Intellimouse drivers until someone else has!
The final thing I like about the mouse is the looks - the silver and white is a nice change to dark grey and goes well with the Dell 640m. They look made for each other.
And I keep it in a white Nokia softbag which came with a Nokia 7600 phone I had lying around in a cupboard.
I hope the above helps as I strongly recommend the mouse to anyone with requirements like mine.
Cheers,
AJP. -
That is awesome news, it seems like you really like the product. I think you are the first person on this forum to actually have this mouse. Thanks for the info again, now i just have to decide between this and the V270...
