Specifically a laser mouse. Dust gets all over the clear cover that covers the laser, but its in an imbedded recess, and i cant reach it with anything..the opening is so small that Q-tips barely fit, and those dont help
i kinda wanna take it apart but i dont wanna mess it up

I would suggest using those disposable dental toothpicks, the kind that are made of soft plastic with various edges and points to remove food from teeth. They work incredibly well for cleaning debris from my mice.
Something like this:
I also use a lot of canned air, Q-Tips, and IPA. -
Canned air is good for brute forcing most of the loose dust particles out. Follow that up with a wet Q-tip or end of a toothpick depending on the size of the opening.
-
heres a pic of the bottom of my mouse, as you can see, the opening to where the laser is is very small, and dust and crap gets inside and its very hard to clean out
-
I would definitely get a can of compressed air with the the straw attachment, stick that straw in the opening (it's a really narrow straw) and blast away.

The following info may help you!
-
That's all about cleaning the outside of the mouse, not the laser itself.
-
toothpicks to get out all the lumpy dirt...
qtip with windex to get the shine...
done!
Anyone know how to clean a mouse?
