There seems to be a lot of hatred on this forum for Bose, so at the risk of being crucified, I'll answer you: Yes, I own QC3 and TriPort headsets. I use the QC3 with my computer at night and my gf usually uses the TriPorts with her iPods. We're both very satisfied customers.

lolz, i've heard too many bose bashing to care for any intervention anymore. especially on a subject so... subjective.

the QC3. its only $50 more than the QC2. its more expensive and has different features and i'd pay the extra price but i'm afraid of the on-ear design not completely fitting me. i tried the QC3 at the apple store in NYC and i felt like i was in a room on the middle of the floor watching 300 people while listening to Trouble Sleeping by Corrine Baily Rae.

The issue im afraid of the QC2 is the quality of the plastics used. i read that some broke and with a $300 dollar headphone, i'd expect something else to fail first rather the entire unit rendered useless.
have you had any issues with them yet?

Thanks for the input BMWROB! Btw, are you a fan of starbucks? im a partner at Rockefeller Center in NYC =)

    I suppose the avatar gave away my preference . . . :D

I love Cinnamon Dolce Latte - grande! Mochas also are usually very good, but some Starbucks folks go a little overboard with the chocolate; the drinks are then too sweet for my taste.

CDL as it supposedly is on the Drink box on the "hot" white cup. i've only been working for 3 weeks haha

for hot mocha's i think its 3 pumps tall, 4 pumps grade, 5 pumps venti. im still not sure. i've only been on bar about 5 times.

i still havent tried a latte or a mocha drink yet... ever since i stepped into starbucks, my friend suggested a caramel frapp and oh my gosh, it was the best 600 calories that my taste buds experienced :p . and thats all i've been having. i recently experimented with 2 pumps of rasberry and it tastes pretty damn good.

as an attempt to convey the "Starbucks Experience", i wish you the best with your latte's and mocha's! :) "Thank you sir!"-thats all i say everyday :D

PS- thanks for tipping! they really help.

I have the Bose QC2 and have used them for 2 years now. I'm very happy with them. I like the fit over my ear. I don't find that they get excessively sweaty. I use them both for music and gaming. The one con is that like everything else Bose, the are expensive.

But I wouldn't be without them. They are grat on a plane too.

i've got a nifty pair of bose quietcomfort 3's. I love them. Very very comfortable even when wearing for long periods, and noise cancelling is superb. Sound quality is also very very good. Downside, they are expensive but Bose customer service and warranty are excellent, so if they ever break, they'll get fixed/replaced in no time. Personally, I'm not a big fan of deep inear canal phones, but if you are, consider the Shure SE530 too.

I have used the UE supfer.fi 3 for the ipod for some time now and it is a good solution for everyday hearing.

The way the headphones are designed to fit in your ear may take some getting used to, but I feel that it has a very neutral sound.

For the price (can be had for ~50 on Amazon every once in a while), they are hard to beat.

If you have the cash get the SE530's mentioned above. They are one of the best.

You can also check out Sennheiser cx300's as an alternative.
