I order a sleeve from shinza.com on the 28th of last month. Still no response to whether my package has been shipped or anything. I emailed them, i tried contacting them on their website aswell and nothing back..

Should I be worried or are they just fukcing idiots and cant email me back?

I don't know why they're not emailing or communicating well, but I know several people have ordered from them with success. They're legit, so don't worry about that. I'd give them a call Monday to see what's up.

Does anyone know these *******'s phone number?? There is no way of contacting them past a stupid little email on their website. (very unprofessional)

I ordered on the 28th of last month, and i have heard NOTHING from them for 3 weeks. I have sent numerous emails to them.

My order still says processing, yet has been charged to my Credit card weeks ago.

Not to hijack this thread but are Elecom ZeroShock sleeves the same as the Shinza ZeroShock sleeves? If they are, eBay has plenty of Elecom ZeroShock sleeves. I did a little bit of Googling and it seems like they're the same thing, so I'm not sure why there's Shinza and Elecom. Perhaps someone could enlighten me.

Two things. I hear a lot of bad customer service coming from the shinza guys so I would rather go through ebay than their site. And another, I had a elecom sleeve (not the zeroshock) and it was really good stuff.

Cool, well my dad just got a Zeroshock off of eBay for me so I'm guessing it's an Elecom one. I'll post a mini-review sort of thing when I get it.

There's actually several Shinza-types out there. Dr*Mos and Zioteck are other ones I've seen... they all seem to have the same problem: Sized for a Mac.

I recently ordered the Macally Sponge... I really liked the flip-out handles, additional velcro closure, and piece to keep your fans clear. However, upon getting it it seems like it will be too small (they only provide external specs, so I took a shot, but my 710M is 1/2 wider than the iBook.

Does anyone know of a memory foam clamshell that will easily fit?? Several people have complained about Shiza's seams tearing, and I'll bet cramming a 700/710M in there might explain it.

Anyone know of a 12.1" case that will fit 11.7x9.5x1.5??? Thanks!

I have a friend who has a Dell 700m with a 12" ZeroShock and the seams are tearing. Mind you that this sleeve is heavly abused. She bought it during last summer and was thrown in a backpack full of books and binders. She even dropped her laptop 3 times with the sleeve on. As of now, the 700m is still working prefectly and I believe the ZeroShock did an excellent job of protecting the laptop. Also, she bought the sleeve at the Shinza website.

As for me, I got a size A4(15") Zeroshock and I bought it from a japanese computer store. I got it for $25(tax included). I been using it for a month and it been doing a great job of protecting my laptop.

    -Thanks

i bought a zeroshock III and a lcd film thingy from them about 3 weeks ago...really good service for me, and im in australia too came really fast and in perfect condition.

i even got a discount coupon cos i told them their shipping thing was stuff up at the time and they fixed it within 3 days.

as far as the elecom and shinza..yea they look exactly the same...they probably all come from japan anyways, the packaging and such are all in japanese.

Ive bought a zeroshock sleeve from Shinza before. I had no problems getting it, and quickly. But, yes, their customer support is very bad. Ive recieved emails from them months after my initial request.

To answer someone elses question. Shinza does not make zeroshock sleeves. They only import and sell Elecoms' Zeroshock's sleeve. And yes, it is in my opinion the best sleeve on the market.

Expound, please. In what way do you feel it is the best?

I think what I'm looking for in a sleeve- primarily I want it to be stiff, with no extra pockets or anything that makes it exterior dimensions larger than they need to be. A polymer, or at least very tightly woven stiff if fabric exterior. Not neoprene or anything soft and cottony.

Has anyone tried the macbook pro 15.4" with the zeroshock 3 widescreen 15 inch? I emailed shinza and they said it wouldn't be a perfect fit but the ebay people say it is

The sleeve i had, (not the latest generation Zeroshock III), was great. It was stiff and rigid, yet the material it is made of will compresses and decompresses very slowly. you really feel that if it had either a very direct impact by somesomething or an impact on a wide range of its surface, that impact is being absorbed before it gets to the computer. It also has great protection from every angle, say if you were to drop it on the corner.

I have seen the Zeroshock III in stores, and its design looks great, its still made out of the same material, but the inside now looks like it is capable of absorbing much more force.

    Hope that helps
