One of friends told me it's possible if I have a TV tuner. And later on I did a little research and came across a thread mentioned that I only need a device like this:

Anyone have this kind of experience? I really wanna play ps2 games on my laptop. Thank you for the reply!!

Yes I tried with the ATI All IN WOnder and it was pretty bad. The quality was pretty good, but everything was like 1 second after i pressed it. For example, I might be playing KH2 and I hit the x buttong, 1 second after it actually activates.

I actually have that, it isn't that bad.

The quality is much better if you get a SVideo cable for the PS2 instead of using the default R/Y/W cable.

If you want I can get you a few screenies or pics maybe.

Oh, thank you for your fast reply, good to know it works!!
Post a few screenshots please!!! Thank you!!! A few questions though,
Does it lag a little with that device? and I don't need a TV tuner once I get that, right?
About the SVIDEO cable, what is it? Where can I get it?

I used both S-Video and Component in my notebook (built-in TV tuner) with Xbox and PS2

Here are some screenies. The 1st is the main screen with a comparison of the size of the unit, its very small, the 2nd pic is of it fullscreen(the top right is my music player dongle), and the last one is it on a 20" LCD. Note they were all taken on a camera phone.

It doesn't lag at all for me, so its quite a joy to use. No TV tuner is needed, but if you get the 1410 instead of the 1400, it has a TV tuner as well, but I opted not to, no cable here, no point :)

The SVideo you can get it from stores, ebay, etc.

The Gamebrigde is an excellent tv tuner for video games system as they do not suffer the lag issue. I have one myself and have play devil may cry 3, resident evil 4, and metal gear solid 3 without any lag. The music sometime get messy (short and rarely) but fix itself in a few seconds.

The only complaint I have so far is the frame for games with 60 FPS are either cut down to 30-50. However, this does not make the game not playable. My video card is x1400 if that make any difference.
