Anyone try to glossify their matte screen with a stick-on film?

I was at Fry's today and I saw a clear film that can be cut to fit for matte LCD screens.

I was tempted to get one to put on my matte display of my HP NX9420. Do these look good when applied? It's basically just a plastic film applied to the display surface.

That's just a protection layer of film. It doesn't add "gloss". At most, you may only get a reflection because the film has anti-glare properties

No harm in adding a film onto your screen to prevent scratches. Just need to make sure you buy the right one and it is completely clear. For example many a PSP owner like myself use a film on the screen. But after the PSP, I could only imagine the headache it would be to apply it on a laptop screen. There is a review for something like this if you search
