    Eh.. there's nothing really wrong with them. They just look like regular black cases with the Apple logo ironed on.

    I bought one similar to the antishock one, but for 13 inch macs and without the apple logo (I'm using it for my current comp). Protection on the faces seems insubstantial, but that white tube thing feels like it can reduce the impulse of some forces. If the case is designed for your laptop the corners and sides will be fine, but if not (like in my case) it will be a little less secure. I think if you are putting the case in another bag like I am you will be fine.

    I wouldn't bother getting them on ebay at those prices (from hong kong.)

    Those cases look fairly run of the mill and you can get something comparable from just about anywhere, Staples, CompUSA, Microcenter, Wal-mart.

    I bought one of these for my Asus W5A because I lost the OEM one that came with the notebook. Had no dramas with them at all.
