    Anything available to illuminate laptop keyboards?

    Are there any accessories that will illuminate a laptop's keyboard? I noticed that some Lenovo models have a small LED built into the LCD that shines light on to the keyboard when working in low light conditions.

    The chances of finding something integrated to illuminate your keyboard is fairly slim, the closest (and cheapest) option would be something like these USB Snake Lights.

    don't expect too much light...

    Have you thought about one of these? It will probably give off enough light to enable you to see the keyboard. And if you look around, you might be able to find a USB adapter for it.

    If he was using one of these, he'd have to worry about incinerating, not inconveniencing, other passengers on a plane. It would kinda suck the battery too...

    Maybe so but atleast he wouldnt have to worry about Light :)
