Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knew how effective Arctic Silver 5 is when applied to the CPU/GPU. I saw a post talking about it reducing temperatures drastically, and I'd like to know if anyone has any feedback about the product.

    Thanks.

when applied CORRECTLYit does indeed drop temps over the parafin wax oem compound found on most computers. This is due to the crystalyne (sp) threads it fourms.

I have a nice guide of how to do it here - http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=77860
