Are laptop screens at the same size the exact same dimensions?

    Hey guys.

Title might be a bit weird, but here is my question in full.

Say I buy a 13.3" laptop. Will the screens of the laptop be exactly the same size as any other laptops with 13.3"? Provided the aspect ratio is 16x9 and not 16x10.

Im asking because I would like to order a screen protector along with a 13.3" laptop. Since I will be ordering both online I cannot physically measure the screen size. So if they are all the same I could just order any screen protectors at 13.3".

    Cheers

Why do you need a screen protector? Is it a touch screen? As long as the aspect ratio matches and the screen is exactly the same size diagonally, you should be good.

Yep, if the aspect ratio is the same and the screen diagonal lengths are the same, the screens will be the same size.

    Thanks guys, appreciated.

No it is not touch but I want it to be protected from scratch and random fingerprints.

Just be careful as they can distort the image.

Of course they will distort the image. The question should be can you live with it?

The best protection for the screen is to not touch it OP. I have a screen protector, but its to prevent the keyboard contact.
