I loved that my old logitech mouse had mouse button 4 and 5 set to back and forward. I do not have the option to assign these in the included razer firmware. Is there any way to do something like this?

yeah of course
The lachesis has synaptic memory built it so it will remember the button commands without the program.
My 4 side buttons are Back, Forward, Close tab, Retrieve closed tab. The top 2 buttons are used to shift up and down through the 100 tabs i have open.

So, how do i access the button configurations? i'm limited to about 6 in the razer software.

You put custom macro keys.
eg Close Tab = Ctrl + W
Forward and back should be in the preset list. -
Thanks FF, You're the man.

i never really set up the buttons on mine because the 4/5 buttons worked as back/forward for everything by default.
