    Hey;

    I'm shopping around for a laptop, and have settled on one of the similar Asus brands (either W3J or A8jm). Likely the A8jm because of the DVI out.

    However, one of my requirements is to be able to use the portbar/portdock that is available for asus brand laptops. I am wondering - what laptops are compatible with the portbar/dock. Are all Asus laptops compatible with it?

    Thanks;
    - A

    As of now, none are, except for the V1j.

    The previous set of models(Z70v, S5, etc. had PortBar compatiability)

    Well, that sucks. Do you know if they have any plans to release ones that are compatible in the near future? Are there any other optons for that type of functionality?

    Can you suggest any other laptop companies that have models comperable to those, but with docking station ability?
