    Asus xonar u3 No mic boost!

    First off, im very sorry if this is the wrong place to put this.

    My problem is, i have bought an Asus xonar u3 for my laptop. The reason for that is because my mic is
    having terrible static when plugged into the 3.5 mm jack.

    So getting this usb fixed it, but now my mic volume is way to low, and there is no option for mic boost.
    The mic boost only appers when i plug the mic cord into the 3.5 mm jack on my laptop, but then the teribble static comes back.

    I have tried everyting, installing latest driver, tried differnt usb ports, and so on.

    Any help would be awesome!

    You can boost the mic in the windows sounds options
