    No

2 watt speakers are entirely worthless. using a usb port EACH even.
You want the smallest self powered speakers. I dont have a suggestion but not those those are crap incarnate

you could get headphones. You can get a better sound than an expensive speaker in a much smaller package for a smaller price.

I use a pair of Sennheiser's CX-300 in-ear monitors w/ my laptop. Great sound and much more compact than even the smallest speaker

I also think it is crass to play on the JLAudio name. JL=good, JLabs=knockoff name. That irks me.

Though they seem nice, I would not even pay half the price for speakers with "paper" cone drivers. paper divers wearout rather quickly.

They look alright to me, they're pretty cheap and I'm assuming very light weight.

I wouldn't go quite that far. Some of the best drivers ever made are paper cone. That said, so are some really cheap junk.

Whoa, they definitely got me. I just read it as JLAudio.
If the name of their company is designed to mislead people, how can you possibly trust their products?

The speakers...they're probably fine, if you want some small and lightweight speakers that will play louder than your internal speakers (though I'd be surprised if they sounded better than them). $40 is pretty steep, more expensive than they should be, imo, but I could see situations where the added convenience would be worth it to someone.
