    BE06LU11 vs BE08LU20

the BE6lu11 is a 6x external burner 16x dvd burner and 48x cd burner but it cost 100 dollars more then the be08lu20 which is the same specs but an 8x burner

they both have lightscribe both usb 2.0 externals i cant see any other difference then the write speed. Why the hell is the 6x 100 more then the 8x I dont get it, shoukldnt it be the other way around? What am I missing

    they are LG brand btw.

Thats definitely weird....I'd save the $100 and get the 8x.

well I didn't like the way this situation looked so I looked a little harder and I found probably the best burner out there. LaCie d2 12x external bd-re burner. Has 4MB buffer. 16x DVD write speeds 48x CD write speeds and 12x blu ray write speeds. Must be connected via firewire 400 to reach 12x blu ray burning usb 2.0 is limited to 8x. But after hours and hours of looking it seems this is the best external blu ray burner on the market. All the other 12x are internals.
