its kinda getting hot after long use and overworking the cpu, don't like to put it to close contact with the table, so what is the best notebook cooler for the MBP 15!?!?!?!!
P.S. I know there is a notebook cooling pad stand thingy guide right above this, but im too tired to read through and find the best myself, im here to hear from those whom with experience, and with recommendations.

THE TOP, BEST BEST BEST BEST! BESTEST BEEEEEEESSSTT

    n. something that has the perfect balance between price and performance. worth every penny long lasting pleasure for the mbp15. high top-notch quality and efficiency, (near) noiseless operation, lightweight, cool and simple yet elegant design.

Definitely nothing which allows it to be used closed-lid. I've given up on the Balmuda Floaters after running lid-closed started causing noticeable impacts on stability (and noise), since the MBP's run crazily hot in any case.

That is kind of the problem - since the unibodies don't actually transmit a lot of their heat to the aluminium body, anything which actively cools the underside only has a fairly limited impact. A heat-sink which is in direct contact with the back-centre of the machine may yield some measurable results, but nothing huge.

The best option really in terms of efficacy and cost is something which puts a good deal of (ideally moving) air around the open machine - and that's probably something like the Griffin Elevator. Matias do some nice stands too but I'd suggest sticking to the 'elevate open machine to screen height' stands.

Zalman coolers are generally the top performers, but everything depends on your budget. I'm using a Cooler Master Notepal U2 because it was a good deal: cheap, effective, quiet, and sturdy enough. It's made of aluminum so it'll match the mbp and is lightweight.

Honestly with the MBP its a waste, there is no cooler that will be very effective with it due to its layout. There are no vents on the bottom, the majority of air taken in is from the keyboard area. Your best bet is to prop up the notebook so that its not directly on the surface of the table. This will prevent heat from being trapped.

Not sure what your definition of quality is, since that looks as janky as heck - given the choice betwen the two, I'd go for the Zalman for all the good that'll do you (see my previous post).

A cheap (which I realise is what people on most forums ultimately usually mean when they say 'BEST') option to get air under the machine and to lift it at the back, which won't affect the look of the notebook, is Cool Feet. On the other hand if you're looking for a tabletop (i.e. non-elevating) stand in the vein of the Notepal/Zalman which is the *BEST* looking (IMO) then it has to be the Balmuda X-Base, although undoubtedly it has the worst functional bang for the buck.

Personally, if you must have a tabletop stand and you don't have high budgets - I'd go for a Zalman. They're not visually offensive, the fan doesn't need to be turned on (and is very low-level in terms of noise at the lowest setting), raises your machine a bit while still being typeable-on. But it won't help your temps that much - for that, once again, I'd recommend buying a keyboard/mouse and buying an elevating stand if you intend to use it in a stationary manner.
