    HI,
I just purchased my new laptop and am looking for a mouse. Is there much difference between the battery consumption of each type of mouse, or is the difference negligible? I am going to be quite mobile with my laptop (long flights), so battery life is important for me. Will wired, wireless or bluetooth tax my battery more? thanks for your help!

A wireless, including Bluetooth, will use marginally more battery. It's not something to be concerned about. Turning off WiFi in flight should make up for the difference.
