I recently purchased an HP dv5t (15.4 in) laptop, and now I'm looking for a bag.

I'm hoping to get something that looks sleek and profesh.. I don't need TOO much room.

My budget is probably up to 150 dollars or so.. any ideas?

Swissgear makes really good ones IMO. the one i have (no model provided?) has compression straps so it doesnt get too bulky. Targus and Belkin have pretty good laptop bags, i would recommend the Sling Bag from Belkin, has a very sleek and clean look to it, provides pretty good protection for your 15.4 in. laptop as well.

I just ordered the Swiss Gear Maxxum (blue) for 57$ from Amazon. I compared it in person to Synergy and liked it much better.

Used to have a Targus that wore out.

I have a Victorinox notebook backpack I got a year ago I guess before the Maxxum and Synergy came out but this thing rocks. It's ultra durable, it's got all the right pockets and organizers in it for travel.

I can fit my 15.4 notebook, ipod video, digital camera, headphones, all the cables and power supplies, papers and documents, a change of clothes, my keys on the key ring, writing utensils and whatever else. And this is all WITHOUT over stuffing it. I won't travel with any other bag, perfect for carry-on when flying.

Basically if you want a bag that can fit all your gadgets and expensive equipment plus essentials you will need on the move Swiss Army backpacks are what you want. I personally like to have all my good stuff with me at all times, especially when the airport loses your luggage.

I bet the Maxxum and Synergy are even better than mine too since they are the latest.

+1 to both Cin and Rexdriver.

    Swissgear rocks, IMHO.

    Another GREAT brand is Spire.
