I would like to buy a sleeve and backpack style bookbag for the laptop. Where should I start looking, I am on a tight budget and I'd like to not spend more then 60 bucks for the sleeve and Backpack bag... is it possible?

Ebags has notebook dimensions for their bags, they might have something that fits well depending on how much wiggle room you want. 1" wiggle room might be a good idea, depending on how tight you want it to fit.

Targus makes some pretty good quality stuff. I used to have a bag from them, and they're durable.

My friend drove over my empty targus bag by accident, and there wasn't anything but a few scuffs on it, so i'm sure that it'll protect your T61 without a doubt.
