Hey all, just picked up an HP 17.3" i7 notebook, and my CES backpack and messenger bag only fit up to 15.4" so I need a new one. I definitely want a backpack, and I'd like for it to be able to hold both my notebook (+giant AC adapter) and my XBox 360 Slim (+giant AC adapter) simultaneously.

After checking out a dizzying array of models at prices ranging from $50-$200, I'm almost as lost as when I started. As long as I'm spending more money, I'd like to get one that can hold both my laptop and my XBox 360 slim.

I'd like to keep it under $100 if possible, but I'm willing to spend a bit more for one that can hold both devices, but it needs to have plenty of room and padding for both.

Any thoughts or suggestions will be well appreciated.

These are what I've looked at so far:

MASK Custom - Will definitely hold both with plenty of room for everything. Looks killer. Pricey.

Velocity Spyder Pro - Might hold Xbox. Looks good. Somewhat less pricey.

Swiss Gear Ibex - Might hold xbox. Decent looks. Reasonably priced.

Everki XL - Roomy with good features, Has xbox sleeve, but not sure if it can hold both devices at once.

The Beacon definitely fits a 17.3" notebook and an XBOX. The notebook compartment is in the back separate from the main compartment which has a sleeve designed to hold the Xbox.

i use the North Face Box Shot for a 17" laptop and it would definitely have room for an xbox in the main compartment with some room to spare. it costs around $100.

I got a Targus backpack that was around $60-$70 at a store (sorry I forget which one, maybe Office Max?). Although I have never seen a Slim Xbox, if it is about the size of a 17" laptop then this backpack will definitely hold both.

Here is the backpack: Targus 17" XL Laptop Backpack Notebook carrying backpack

Targus would be a brand that would hold that much equipment

why lugging so much equipment around? sounds like your wanting to break your back or even stressing out your shoulder.

Don't get any of the ones listed. Get the Alienware Orion. I remember one user telling that he fit a regular Xbox, a G73 or m17x, and a whole bunch of other stuff in it.

Yeah I am using a targus also (not the same) and it is quite large (definitely enough for xbox+notebook).

I just bought a North Face On Sight backpack.

    Fit my Sager 9280 (about 16 x 12 x 2.5") with room to spare, it will hold a 18.4" I believe.

Has 2 more compartments, 1 of which should hold an XBOX slim.

Should I post a mini review?
