I just got an 18.4" Acer Aspire and realized it doesn't fit in the backpack I kept my 17" Gateway in. I'm now on the hunt for a backpack that I can use to haul the thing with me too and from classes. So far the only thing I found is:
Amazon.com: Toshiba PA1453U-1BG8 18.4 inches Gaming Backpack: Electronics
$80 is pretty expensive though. Do I have any other options? I'm sure other people here have 18.4s. What do you recommend?

Possibly the Everki Beacon. It says 18" but you can check the specs against your laptop to see if it will fit. No idea of the price where you are, but I wouldn't expect to pay less than $80 for a decent laptop backpack. My first one was about $130 in 2003.

What about the Targus XL?

Some peep's have reported it works for theirs... -
I have a Sony AW 18.4 inch notebook. This case is nice, but there's not a lot of extra zippered storage areas. It holds a big notebook with the power brick very well though.

Backpack for 18.4"
