I need a backpack for both my m1530 and my school books/notebooks/utensils/etc. Since petty theft is common on campus, I don't want a laptop bag to attract attention that I am carrying a notebook.

What's a good backpack that will provide enough room for both my school work/books and provide good protection for my m1530?

If you are carrying a backpack on campus, then you must have a laptop in it,(or so the common way of thinking goes, but if you wanna have the best backpack there is,(in the whole world) so you can protec your investment in your laptop, you should try the SWIIS ARMY SYNERGY BACKPACK,a little expensive but very well worth it.

Are Wenger and Swiss the same company? Are there different models/versions of this Synergy backpack?

Are there any other noteworthy choices besides the Swiss Synergy?

I like the microsoft summit backpack's looks. I own a Targus Pewter backpack, but it's showing its age. Not sure of any other noteworthy backpacks off the top of my head. here's a good looking one

Has anyone tried the North Face Surge on the M1530? Wondering if it is a tight fit or a loose fit. Not sure which is better for the laptop.
