So guys just ordered a new labtop to replace my current one which is 15in. I need a good backpack to replace my current bag. I'm looking at the following bags:

Amazon.com: Mobile Edge Premium Backpack for 17.3-Inch Laptops - Silver/Black: Computer & Accessories

Amazon.com: Swiss Gear Ibex 17-Inch Notebook Backpack: Computer & Accessories

Amazon.com: Targus XL Backpack Designed for 17 Inch Notebooks TXL617 (Black with Blue Accents): Electronics

I probably will also carry a couple books also. Computer type tech books which can be 700 pages.

Any opinions on which i should choose? Unfortunately i can not go in look in person at these bags and i will probably be getting it off of amazon.

    thanks,
    Ncage

The mobile gear securepack is really good. I just bought it, based on the great reviews and testimonials. Mine comes in in a few days, so feel free to ask me questions about it then.

Hmm interesting its similar to my dSLR bag in that access is through the back so anyone can't just take something out of your bag without you actually taking it off of you.

+1 for The Swiss Gear Ibex...Swiss Gear makes great backpacks as a whole. : )
(I have the Synergy, used it on my XPS 1530 when I had it).

The Targus XL is also pretty reliable (and a little cheaper)? I have a Mobile Edge Messenger & I really like that.. :)
