I just bought an XPS M140 for law school and I need a big backpack that can carry my lappy, my books, PDA and other fun things. I plan on biking with it everyday (when the weather's nice anyways.)

I have been considering the Targus XL Notebook Backpack it is $54.99 at TigerDirect.

Does anyone have any experience with this backpack or suggestions for another one that would suit my needs?

    Thanks.

What happened with TigerDirect? I am just asking because I have only had good experiences with them.

i ordered around $1000 of parts for my computer (was building my own at the time), and everything came opened and used..the motherboard that was sent to me had the HSF locks chipped off. when i tried to return it, they said to me...why dont you use it first before you declare to us that it isnt good.

    that is the basic story..

Well, it's certainly large enough. Never heard any complaints about it.

I have the Targus Gravity which is similar in design. The pack is padded, as are the straps. It CAN get quite heavy with a regular sized textbook and your notebook/spare battery/power brick.

Booq has the sharpest looking notebook backpacks, IMO:

You can also check www.apple.com They have a wide selection of backpacks/messenger bags and sleeves. I am looking into the STM Alley and Maccase Jacket.
