Title pretty much sums it up.

Looking for a backpack that can fit the Asus G75 and all my college books etc. for around $100. Seen alot of bags that can fit 17" laptops but the G75 is a 17.3" with another inch or so around it for cooling.

Ive been looking at the Slappa Velocity Matrix.

Any suggestions? Tyvm for the help.

Hi i went through this stage when i purchased my Asus G73 which should be of similar size. After months of searching through hundreds of bags i landed on the Alienware Orion Backpack. I used this bag to carry my Asus G73 to school and back. The bag was pretty amazing. The weight distribution was impressive. I didn't even feel like i was carrying a behemoth of a laptop the Asus G73 was and it was pretty slim and slick design for the bag i even received some compliments, the alienware head does attract some attention, mainly little kids walking behind me wanting to touch it haha. I also used the bag for LAN parties and even when i went to overseas holidays. The only thing that was concerning about the bag was the bag wasn't really water proof or water resistant. In light rain for a few minutes it was fine. But when the rain is pouring it would last for a few minutes after that you have to get everything out of your bag because the water just soaks through.

A close second of the backpack was the Everki Beacon. I never got to test it out but it's defiantly a viable option because it fairs better in the rain with it's included weather proof cover.

That does look like a nice bag, and the price is deff alot better than 100+ dollars like most other bags that can fit a 17.3" laptop.

My only question is would there be room for the power brick and a few college books, u using it for school u know what im talking about :D haha

That bag deff catches my attention though.

Ha well i only used it for my 2nd to last year of high school but i was able to fit the laptop, charger, about 3-5 hard cover exercise books, Outdoor Education gear, and lunch. You will end up looking like a turtle with tons of books but you are carrying a beast of a laptop, though it depends greatly on height. I'm about 5 ft 6 with wide shoulders and a skinny asian build so it looks rather big on me but on my taller and thicker friends you don't notice it. But usually the alien head deters people's attention anyway. ;)

This year i down sized to the Alienware M14x. It's really convenient with choosing bags and general portability but i do miss my 17.3" screen often.
