Hello all,
I need a backup AC Adapter for my Y50. I have tried calling Lenovo several times, but each time I've been told that the Spare parts department doesn't have the adapter I need.
The part number that I need is 36200605 and the model number is ADL135NDC3A.
I was told by Lenovo that the part should be available at retailers such as Best Buy, Staples, Costco and so on, but I haven't found anything on any of their websites.
If anyone knows where I can get an OEM adapter or even a third party one, I would really appreciate the help. I found a Ubright adapter on Amazon that claims to be for the Y50 but there aren't a lot of details nor any reviews, so I decided against buying it.
I need a backup power supply for school, one to leave at school so I don't accidentally forget it at home.
Does anyone know if the Y50 shares the power supply with other Lenovo models.
As always, thanks for your help in advance,

Lenovo, like other notebook manufacturers, use a limited range of PSUs for all their notebooks in order to keep their inventory and logistics as simple as possible. However, part numbers may change due to slight revisions.
There are 3 variables you need to consider: (i) The size of the plug / socket for the computer; (ii) the DC voltage; and (iii) overall wattage (which is the DC voltage x the amperes). There will be a label on the bottom of the computer indicating the voltage and current requirements. The model number of your PSU has a "135" in it which suggests it is a 135W PSU.
Armed with that information it's easy to go to an internet store such as this then look through what is on offer. Alternatively, go to one of the bricks and mortar stores then ask for Lenovo PSUs. Then check the 3 variables I have listed above to see what is suitable.
