Im odering my new laptop from xotic and was wondering what bag i should get. I really want something that will protect my $4000 laptop through a lot as well as not look like a gun case lol. Oh i want a messenger bag style. I was looking at Tumi.com and Sfbag.com. I just want to be ensured the safety of my laptop becaue its padded greatly :)

This thread may help a bit even though it is backpacks. There is a brief case style mentioned which provides SERIOUS protection.

I know you said you want a messenger style bag but I would recommend you re-think that. It's heavy. I have carried it on one should and wasn't all that happy. I am definitely in the market for a backpack.

    The Kensington Contour might work.
