I don't use my computer on battery enough to warrant it, so I just stick with the one 9 cell.

I have two 9 cells for my E1505, Its pretty rare that I have to use both of them. But I figure that batterys die, and it might be nice to have another one around. Its also nice to have an extra with you just incase you forgot to charge the other one(I've had that happen a few times).

I just picked up an extra 12-cell on a forums site I frequent cheap so that I'll have an extra one (I already have a 12) when I'm at school all day and don't want to lug around the power brick. Otherwise, it'll come in handy to have one around in case I use it on batteries around the apartment too.

Can't wait til it comes in the mail. :)

PS...ya know a desktop battery charger would be great for those w/ second batteries and want to charge them at the same time.

I got mine from a guy that was simply selling his off to get a new laptop so I'm not much help here...but sometimes if you can find a Web site dedicated to your notebook that has forums and all that, you can find good deals in the buy/sell forum if they have one.

    Something to definitely consider!

I usually don't need an extra battery because I'm usually near an outlet.
