    Battery replacement ?

    The battery on my fiance's HP dv3-2000 has crapped out.
    I never bought repacement battery before, I changed laptops fast enough :)
    Do you buy oem, or can you buy the cheap replacments on ebay ?
    Where can I buy oem battery, since the only one I could find on ebay was used.

    When i bought generic batteries they either lasted a few minutes instead of the hours it suggested or it just didn't work as in the laptop didn't detect any battery was in so i always buy OEM now.

    I usually buy my batteries from the store i got the laptop from. or i buy them on TradeMe which is a New Zealand version of eBay and they have an abundant amount of OEM and laptop batteries
