Anyone used this cable?
I have one coming for transfer of files from zx5000 to dv9500t. I have to download driver for the zx5000 to use the cable since the CD drive doesn't work on the zx5000.
Wondering how easy it is to use?

Your best (and cheapest) method to transfer everything is by way of a large USB stick. Those migration programs (I think) transfer registry settings, all your programs (including the old ones you do not use), and generally carry your old computer's problems to the new one. In other words, just transfer what you want/need by hand and you'll get cleaner results.

Actually you choose what gets transfered. Single programs/songs/videos, settings etc. You don't have to transfer everything. I don't think anyone would buy something like that if it only transferred everything

that Belkin cable is too expensive...i would rather wait few more hours which i did using wifi

We don't have Wifi yet so thats not an option. Cable is coming today and I have the drivers downloaded for it. Just waiting now for the new notebook.

then its okay or you could have used external drives easily..i am saying this as i am not sure if ll require the cable afterwards
