We bought a Belkin wireless router a few months ago, and it works like a charm. Well, it did, until it spontaineously gave out completely. Last night the WAN light blinked incessantly. After hours of tweaking settings, I came to the conclusion that the router was dead. Maybe that's why it was on sale[ ;)] Anyway I went to Best Buy and got a D-link, and it is much faster than the Belkin. Has anyone else had bad experiences with Belkin products? A guy at Officemax said that Belkin products were not reliable.

I have never used there routers, as I always get dlink for my router's and switches, but I have used a belkin wireless PCI card for my desktop and it has given me no problems in 2 years.

I have a Belkin 802.11 card in my wifes laptop and it's been pretty decent for the past 2 or 3 years. Also Belkin USB to Serial adapter which, thus far, has been the only adapter I've gotten to work with an Icom PCR-1000. I can't say I wouldn't consider them for another product if the need arose.

I guess this was an isolated case. I'd still be reluctant to buy any Belkin again, other than a surge protector. D-link has been much more user-friendly and powerful.
