    So, I have a friend who's willing to part with his 27" 1440p ROG SWIFT for $450. I have a $150 BenQ that I've been using for over a year and it's decent, but I've never bought a 'good' monitor before.

    I have a 980 and i5-4690k. Will this be enough to power the extra resolution and how much of a leap will this be for me? Is it worth it?
