They are having a decent boxing week sale on the benq M310 notebook mouse at the local store and was wondering if someone would share their expereince with this device. How are the ergonomics etc? How does the scrollwheel perform compared to a logitech or MS mouse? I have not found any benq driver software for download and was wondering if it has any of the extended scrollwheel functions.

I decided to purchase the mouse and I am pleased with its functionality and accuracy of use. It is small but still can be used easily, and it seems to have the wheel and center button functions of an intellimouse without any additional driver installation requirements.

The main disadavantage I have observed so far is the very limited battery life ... it is supposed to last for 3 months of "average" use. However, I have used the mouse less than 10 times for about an hour or so and then I noticed a noticeable decrease in pointer movements until all stopped. So I would estimate battery life of less than 10 hours usage. How does this compare to other cordless optical mice? Maybe I should make it a habit to turn off power after each move.
