    Just got mine TODAY!!
    New speakers,
    It's Logitech X-540
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...ategoryId=pcmcat110000050027&id=1152836586066

    It's listed 102.99US$
But I (i :) ) compared it to Sam's club near my house (I went there this morning).
    It's 81.00US$ there
So bestbuy gave me match price + 10% discount! :D
    I ended up paying 72US$ (around 79 + tax)

    Thx Bestbuy and Sam's club!!
(ps: Once again it's Logitech X-540. It's not listed on the website, but it's available in the store. Just insist the bestbuy guy to call)

    Sound quality is AMAZING!
    I have a trouble..
Although it's a 2 channel 5.1 sound, the speaker's main input are 3 (fr,rr,cnt). Even though my laptop supports it, it has no 3 audio output!

Even only running 3 (RL,RF,SubW) The sound's still amazing!! ;)
I'm waiting to have other 3 speakers work

Update drivers? Or I think you can adjust the settings in the Control Panel and switch it to 5.1.

Back to the topic, everything is subjective. Price vs performance deal. For its price it probably has decent sound, but compared to others it may be lackluster.

    It's a cable problem..
See, logitech x540 has 3 audio input (Front,Rear,Center)
My laptop only has 1 audio output. Other 2 holes are for mic and line in.
So now i only use 1 input cable from the speaker to put into my lappy's 1 audio output (Rear cable).
So i only have RearRight, RearLeft, and subwoofer sound ON.
The other 3 (FrontRight, FrontLeft, CenterSpeaker) is off.

    About the sound quality..
Even only 3 (RR,RL,SW) of them's on, the sound's still SUPERB, CLEAR!
    I would say it's quality's above average for 80$ class speaker :)
I'm waiting for the other 3 (FR,FL,C) to work..

Somebody here can help me

Then, the problem is simple. You can't use 5.1 or atleast I don't think you can unless you can connect the remaining cable by via another fashion, for instance PCMCIA soundcard will probably work. Since, there is only one audio input, you can't use the remain speakers. It's a hardware problem.

I don't think that would work. But, I'm not an expert.

I agree that everything is subjective, but I am going to have to agree with the OP. I have the Logitech x-230's, and for the price, these two beat out everything around them.
