I decided to give MagicJack a shot for when I am at my family's house and want to make business calls (I don't give out my cell number to associates or clients).

I have heard it is hit-and-miss but for 40 bucks, I am willing to take the risk.

Any suggestions on a good portable headset for MagicJack?

I know there is a thread about headsets and Skype but MagicJack is a bit different.

I am leaning towards a USB headset so I'm not depending on the sound card on my laptop.

You mention USB headset and that seems to escapse the forum readers. This site: http://www.magicjacksupport.com/ if you have not used it, is a wealth of help. The users recommmend Motorola D200 adapter to work with a Bluetooth headset.

Try it you will like it.

BTW, did you find another adapter that worked?
