I'm currently looking for a stylish and good quality set of BT Headphones and a non-laggy BT mouse with a good grip (Not those tiny mice, i got big hands) for my coming m1330. Both for gaming and mobile use. So far there are some Mouse thats not bad from Logitech and 2 headsets from creative thats not bad too. So i would like to know if there are other existing ones that any of you guys might know of :) all suggestions and recommendations are welcome :)

    Thanks
    Jonathan

As far as I know, there are no bluetooth "gaming" mice available right now. You could try the bluetooth MX1000, which probably wouldn't be too bad for gaming, or you could get the wireless (not BT) G7.

Oh thanks for that info, but yea i thought of getting a mouse like G7.. but problem is.. i really don't wanna have to plug-in any usb and try to keep my usb ports as free as possible. oh and from cnet , they didn't specify that the mx1000 is bluetooth, is it bluetooth ?

There is a bluetooth edition and a non bluetooth edition. I know previously the bluetooth edition could only be purchased as part of a mouse and keyboard combo, such as the mx5000, though that may have changed.

Nope, still the same way! I'm in the same situation.. trying to find a GOOD bluetooth mouse. I'm tempted to buy the MX5000 package and "try out" the MX1000 BT mouse and see if I like it. If I don't I can always return it (like I plan on doing with this Apple BT Mighty Mouse). Seems like the only really good options are the Apple, Radtech BT600, Logitech MX1000 (as part of the MX5000 package), Logitech V270, and well.... that seems to be it.

If anyone else has some recommendations, please let us know!

Or the MX900 right ? i think you can get that alone.

Plus i just realise that the reviews of this mouse were like during 2004, have these BT mouse been around for so long ? is bluetooth's technology not "fast" enough for gaming ?

If there's no more recommendations, i'll prolly get the mx900 after the 19th of july, which will be the day i get my m1330 :p

When I built my Dell 1520 on the accessories step, there was an option for a Bluetooth $79 combo headphone (with mike) and mouse. The headphones look pretty powerful, but I don't know anything about them.

I went ahead and got a VX Revolution (also have a Mighty Mouse BT). I just got the VX Revolution home and I must say, despite it not being Bluetooth, I still really like it. I'd recommend it.

The best BT mouse i've ever used is the microsoft wireless laser mouse 8000.

This is someone who has used the following BT mice:

logitech v270 (excellent travel size mouse)
logitech mx900 (I was using this before the 8000)
microsoft optical elite bluetooth mouse (POS, worst BT mouse I've ever used)

IMO, the microsoft wireless laser mouse 8000 beats them all. Super smooth and responsive (as good as a wired laser mouse and good enough for gaming) and virtually no interference when transferring large files over wifi. I just got it a couple of days ago so I can't comment on battery life, but it comes with a charger and only uses 1 nimh battery so its not too heavy.

The only thing I don't like is the smooth mouse wheel, as I prefer the click type, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Other than that, its a fantastic full size mouse. It also has a dedicated off switch.

Thanks for the recommendation , bmnotpls :) i would buy a v270, but its too small and i'm actually also looking for one more aspect in the BT mouse, which is to have a grip like the G series of Logitech. i dunno i might be asking too much lol :p

Can the MX1000 BT mouse use AA batteries instead of a charger? The point of a BT mouse is to not carry extra things to plug into the computer...

Wireless mice are terrible for any sort of fps gaming, i can attest to that. There is almost always intermittent lag of some kind, and i found that bluetooth mice are even worse than their cordless usb counterparts. Just live with the cords and get a mx518 or g5.

This is not necessarily true at all. Depending on your setup and what kind of interference is around, some wireless mice have no lag whatsoever. Bluetooth mice don't necessarily lag either if you have a good bluetooth adapter with no other intefering devices on it.
