Best Bluetooth Mouse for Gaming?

In terms of accuracy and portability for a bluetooth notebook mouse, would the Razor Pro Click Mobile be the best? or rather the Microsoft Notebook Mouse 5000?

I have heard that bluetooth mice tend to lag when put to sleep and then woken up again, is this true? and if so, do these two mice do so?

Between these two mice, the Razer is an optical mouse at 1200 dpi and the Microsoft Notebook Mouse 5000 is a laser mouse at 1000 dpi.

Other mice are welcome these are just two i heard that were decent mice.

 

I have the Pro|Click and it's awesome! As far as the lag, there's no lag between the movement of the mouse and the cursor on the screen (as opposed to the mighty mouse I tried in an Apple store).

There's a bit of lag when idling, but I guess you won't be idling enough during, say, Call of Duty 4, for the mouse to go to sleep.

So again, +1 for the Razer!

 

I don't know about the lag, but I think most wireless mouse have refresh rate of 500hz, not so good for gaming at all.

 

Gaming bluetooth is a joke. It lags. Wireless has less lag but usually still does

for gaming this is generally the idea Wired>wireless>bluetooth

 

I would root for the G7, excellent mouse built for gaming and it's wireless

otherwise get the G5, a excellent gaming mouse (it's wired btw)

 

G7 is great as long as your not near a router that runs on 2.4Ghz since they run on the same band causing interference. If you go wired and the wire bugs you do what I do. Buy a cable tie.

 

I wouldn't recommend BT at all. Get a 2,4ghz wireless instead.

 

If you want an honest to goodness gaming mouse, you're going to have to go wired. You have herd correctly, bluetooth mice DO lag after sleep mode and they aren't very good for gaming.

I use a Logitech G9. I'm going to post a review on in accessories sometime in the next few days.

 

Yeah, I have a G9 as well, awesome mouse. As to wireless mice for gaming, they lag horribly. Also, notebook mice tend to be little bitty things, and I can't imagine them being comfortable for extended web surfing sessions, let alone gaming. Besides, its one more thing to keep track of/lose. Just get a nice wired mouse and a wire tie.
