I bought a cooling pad (Targus chill pad) for my computer, but not sure if its the right one for my computer... it has to big squares on the sides that might be the intakes? and a small one on the bottom that might be the exhaust... lol :)
    Should I keep it?
    thanks!

Is the pad a rectangle or does it have curved inwards sides? If the sides are curved in, keep it as the fans blow air under the laptop. That is the new model Targus. The old on sucks air away from fan on laptop.

The Zalman notebook coolers are absolutely amazing. I was weary of them at first because of the price, but they are worth every penny.

If it's the newest revision and don't mind the noise then keep it. It pushes a lot of air out. Try to raise the cooler like an inch higher so it can suck more air in to blow towards the laptop. This cooler reduced my temps 5-7C cooler on full load compared to the Zalman nc1000 that reduced it only by 1-2C.
