    Hi Everyone,

I'm currently using the G9X, which is great for gaming, no complaints. It doesn't hurt my hand at all in terms of carpel tunnel issues.

The issue I'm facing is that I edit music for about 4 hours/day or more and there's MUCH more clicking/moving compared to gaming, so the pain continues to grow. Don't get me wrong, I recommend the G9X to everyone - for gaming, it's great.

I don't believe any gaming mouse will truly rid me of the pain, so I was looking into an affortable ergonamic mouse that won't make me look like a retard if I were to bring it to school occasionally.

I'd need one that I can do tasks with at the same pace as my G9X b/c music production is alot of work and I don't really want to increase my production time b/c of the mouse.

    Any ideas?

Have you considered other components of you set up as the cause of the problem other than the mouse? ie. Why not try a wrist rest if you don't already have one?

try using a wrist rest everytime you're on your computer. they sell standalone beanbag/gel type rests at staples or any office store. i noticed that the razer imperator is very ergonomic and comfortable when i tried it out at the store and it's advertised for it's ergonomics. i would buy one but i don't need a fifth mouse and it's weird i never see anyone using one.

Maybe the new Logitech G700 will suit for your gaming and editing works?
